Frontabriouse
La Cabanasse 23 km
Übersetzung folgt We had just taken our tents down and were packing up when a car came across the meadow into the forest streight at us. It turned out that the driver was looking for her cattle. It seemed it had been ok that we staid here for the night. We walked across some meadows and along fences to find an exit onto a gravel road. Soon we arrived at Formiguères. From here it was a streight trail through forests until arriving at Lac de Matemale. It became quite touristy with many people walking around. From here to Llagonne we followed forest roads. On the way we passed by a small skilift. From hereon it was downhill. The Citadelle Mont-Louis was closed for the public. An information board advised that it was currently used by the military.
And then we arrived early at the hostel in La Cabanasse. When it got near opening hours we went to the place. Other where waiting outside. But no-one opened the house. It became waiting time. After a while I tried calling the advised number. No reply. Than I sent a SMS. Finally I got a call back and we got the door code. Heather went inside while talking on the phone and followed the instructions to get our room. There is a small store in town where we got some supplies. All day long it was only warm in the sun.
