VIb.6    Section Sacovescia - Coliforico   33 km

In the morning we followed the road up to Sacco Vescio. It was dry but cloudy. On the way up to the community we came by the cemetary l'Eremita. It is well out of town. On we went to Fematre with a church by the road. There also is a double fountain by the road. So far so good. Now we went up to Plan della Cuna. Up here we had a GPS track but no trail. Even worst we where up in the clouds. It was wet, very little vision and no trail. Eventually we arrived a point that made sence to us. The E1 went further uphill by about 200m in the clouds and no vision at all. Here at 1200m it was bad enough. We decided to get down again from the Plan and followed a gravel road which took us in the rain to Pantaneto. Here we found the local old town laundry room. There are two basins with constantly running water. But it was out of the rain. We set on the ground in the cool open room and had our lunch. It was not the best place but it was nice to have it dry for a while.

Back into the rain we moved on. The trail now took us back up to around 1200m and into the clouds. This poor weather ment we wanted to have a room for the night. Finally we arrived at Coliforico. The dinner consisted of a cake and ice cream.
