VIb.8    Section Passo del Termine - Cima di Costicciola   25 km

Today we wanted to re-supply in the town of Gualdo Tadino. The trail stays up in the mountains along the ridge and reaches elevations of up to 1400m. We started early into a sunny day. The trail was easy to hike and we had many good viewpoints. We left the mountain ridge well before lunch time and hiked parallel to E1 slowly down into the valley. We stopped for lunch at a Pizzeria. The owners where partly German. The pizza tasted good. Then we shopped at the local coop. Leaving town we gradually gained elevation slowly getting back to the trail. Here we caught a bit of light rain. We followed E1 for a few kilometers until arriving at a water source. Here we camped for the night.
