Once we had left town and passed by some meadows it became a long climbe along a rocky trail. Later towards Refuge d l'Orry it became rather bad. Near the refuge we stopped for lunch in the sun. There were many cows nearby. From here we followd gravel roads all the way up to Coll Mitja at 2.367 m. Now it was a reasonable trail with many switchbacks down to Refuge du Ras de La Caranca. There were many people at the refuge. We moved on and found a spot for the night in a forest.
