Having sufficiently recovered we moved on in the morning. The first part was easy walking along a minor road to Fillols. Than the climbing started. Soon we could follow a fravel road with a number signs depicting interesting features like the rock formation La Tortue. The signs were made with ceramic tiles. During the day we came by several dry creeks. There was also some light rain during the day. Once we reached the pass Col de Cortalets it became level hiking. As the trail was along a sloping hillside it took a while until we found an acceptable spot for the night near GR10. This was the last time we actually notices a sign for the trail. At 10 pm we where hit by a heavy thunderstorm. Being safely in our tents the noise kept us up for a bit.
