Starting at the youth hostel of Ratzeburg the path went along Lake Küchensee passing through shadowy forests until reaching Kreisforst Farchau. The turnoff to Mölln is poorly marked and can easily be missed. Following a longer break in "Till Eulenspiegel's" town I continued from lake to lake towards Güster. Shortly before reaching the village E6 separates from E1 and E9. Upon crossing the Elbe-Lübeck channel I arrived at Güster. I found a bed for the night in the former post office. This saved the time of continuing to one of the camping grounds further south.
