During the night several ships passed by. Some of them were quite noisy. Having staid near the canal the tarp was all wet in the morning; inside and outside. Even so it looked several times during the day like rain was coming, it staid dry. At first the path led through marsh but always staying near moraines. At Kuden I walked up to the top of the moraine. There is a nice view point looking out over Buchholz Bog. Shortly before reaching St. Michaelisdonn I had to circumvent the local landing field. To get into the community I had to walk down into the marsh again. Next I walked through forest Gudendorfer Forst, which was back up on top of the moraine. I had lunch in a trailside shelter. At the outskirts of Gudendorf is the memorial place Gudendorf. During the Second World War Russian prisoners of war were interned here. Soon after I returned back to the marsh with the river Süderau. Shortly after passing through Dellbrück I set up my tarp near a sand road.
