VIa.13    Section Passo della Scoffera - Passo Forcella   30km

The day started sunny and later clouds moved in. Nevertheless it staid dry all day. Until Passo della Scoglina we went along the trail. It followed the ridge line or went along it's often rather steep slopes. Of course this included many up and downs. We met well more than 20 hikers during the day. All in all it was well to hike. At Passo della Scoglina we decided not to follow the marked trail which continued following the ridge line and thereby taking a long southern bend. Instead we followed the rather straight road to Passo della Forcella where we met the marked trail again. The ascent from the pass was very steep and not easy to climb. We made it and soon found a decent campsite and stopped for the night.
