I had breakfast at the restaurant / bar. Hot tea and some pieces of cake. I needed to re-supply and could take a bus into town. Or I could resupply at the CG. They had chips, salt, sugar, oil, 8 packs of spagetti and one pack of noodles as well as some cleaning stuff. So this was no option. I had spoken to the host previous evening. He arranged to get some bread and prepared sandviches which would hopefully last for the next two days. Waiting for the food meant leaving late in the morning. The day started wheatherwise ok. I had clouds and some sunshine. Than after lunch it started getting bad. I had rain, hail and thunderstorm.
The trail itself was partly very steep and also very rocky. At almost seven pm I arrived at Lago Paduli. The possible tent sites did not convince me to stay. I moved on and finally arrived at Rifugio Albergo Prato Spilla. Of course it was closed. I set up my tent in the wind shade behind the skilift station. It was pretty open on the parking space but I was the only one around.
