Today turned out to be a very hot day. Following a quiet night I packed up my dry tent and started uphill a rocky trail with many leafs. This made me walking rather carfully. Later it became better except for another rocky stretch. At lunch time I stopped in Filettino. Here I searched for a restaurant. Being a northern European I am used to have an earlier lunch than the Italians. I was the first customer at the restaurant. The food was very good but turned out to be rather expensive. I rather prefer much better priced piza.

On I went through Trevi nel Lazio to Altipiani di Arcinazzo. Here I was tried to find a place for the night. This place is a catering to winter sport so in early summer many places where closed. Fianlly I was directed to hotel San Giorgio. It was closed too. Luckily I met on person at this place. He turned out to be the manager and gave me a room. Lucky me. It had become rather humid by now. The shower was very welcome. For dinner I went to one of the few open places in town.
