VIc.10    Section San Donato Val di Comino - Lago la Selva   37 km

This became another long and sunny hiking day. When starting I passed by the still being set up farmers market. Until Settefrati the E1 follows along roads. Than I turned off along a sand road that became more and more rocky. In Antica I had my first break. From there I wen on to Villa Litana. I stopped for an icecream. The supermakret was closed unfortunately. Continuing I passed a house where a woman was cutting the gras. She talked to me and later invited my for tea and cake. She was a mountain guide who had a day off. That was an interesting break. Before continuing following a longer conversation she phoned ahead to Lago La Selva and advised that I would be arriving towards evening. When arriving I was already expected. Of course I was the only one who set up his tent. At the pizeria I had a great dinner with some conversations.
