Ib.11    Section Staddajåhkå - Arasluokta   26 km

As mostly done I started early. The trail follows the lake outlet until Staloluokta. Along this part I had to cross a number of minor creeks. Just short of arriving at this small Sami community the trail merges with Padjelanteleden. From here on it became much more crowded as there were many hikers on this trail. In Staloluokta are two helicopter landing pads. There is a regular daily flight to Ritsem and to Kvikkjokk. After a short break I continued. It started with a heavy ascent before the trail levels out always in sight of Lake Virihávre. The trail is easily hikeable until arriving at Shelter Árasluokta Stugor. Here I talked with host before continuing for a while. Having crossed a bridge over a larger river I finally selected a place for setting up my tarp.
