Today I had to hike about 20 kilometers to catch the eleven a clock bus. Subsequently I was moving on before seven am. I had to follow I hardly used gravel road to Turifossen. At the last few kilometers I saw a few houses. From Turifossen I had to walk along the well travelled and paved road to Meråker. The bus arrived soon after I arrived at the bus stop. Bus tickets had to be purchased online only. However I was allowed to pay by credit card coming forward to the driver into the actually closed off front part of the bus. The bus took me in the valley of River Tesla downhill to Stjørdal. I had been here two years ago. I got straight away a room in the hotel. From here I wanted to take the train to Mo-i-Rana. Unfortunately next days train was fully booked. So I had to spend two nights in town. In the local sports store I bought new hiking poles and a very nice rather light rain jacket. Also i bought food for the next section. Finally I contacted Umbukta Fjellstue and arranged pick up in Mo-i-Rana.
The train ride to Mo-i-Rana was rather relaxed. There where only reserved seats and every second seat was blocked. As there where only seats in first class available I had to book one of these.
