This was to be another beautiful day. Pershyttan was today's highlight. There is a technical museum. They still or again transfer the rotary power of a water wheel into horizontal power (German = Wasserkunst). This power is transferred with wooden levers across longer stretches to a point where there is no water power. Here it could be used for drainage or other needs.
I stopped for the night at the very nicely situated shelter at Lake Storsjön.
Bergslagsleden
This water channel diverts water from Lertesau to Lake Dammsjön
Invented in Harz Mountains, in Pershyttan in use for a long time to transfer power from water power across horizontal distances
Bergslagsleden cuts right in the middle through these flowers
Today it is not known what for and by whom the ditch was dug out
