Today I wanted to hike to Göttingen and to stay at the local hostel. It turned out to be warm but not as hot as the previous days. The trail passes through a lot of open fields but forests too. Twice there are short but steep climbs. Before arriving at Göttingen the trail passes through a former military tank traning area. Here I had to hike on concrete. I arrived at the hostel in the afternoon. Unfortunately I did not get dinner at the hostel. Instead I went to an Italian restaurant which was a lot more expensive.
