After a few kilometers hike I arrived at Rhumspringe in the morning. Here the river Rhume starts in a small lake. The spring with a volume of up to 5000 l/s is one of the largest Karst springs in Europe. By now it got warmer and warmer. It became another hot day. I Duderstadt I stopped for a Bananasplit as lunch. Not realy a real lunch but it tasted good. At Nesselröder Warte outside of the small town of Nesselröde is a small campground. I staid here for the night. The shower was very welcome. Of course as so often I was the only one staying with a tent.
This lake is the spring of creek Rhume
