The restaurant was open for breakfast. The weather had turned even worst than the day before. At Bieberstein the former railroad tracks have been turned into byke path Milseburgradweg. At the former station a charging station for e-bices has been installed. Before arriving at Milseburg it started to drizzle. At a shelter I put on my rain clothing. From here on I had no GPS-track. But I know where to go to and there where frequently trail markings. Here I found markings for trail E3 too. For a while both trails run together. Soon I had the first view of the highest mountain of the Rhön, the Wasserkuppe. From ABstrode down in the valley it is quite some climb to the top at 950m. As it was September there where not many tourist at the top. The weather with clouds, rain and plenty of wind was not really enticing for a visit. I dried out and a soup at a small snack bar. Of course I visited the German glide museum with many gliders and other information. Than I descended to Gersfeld to take the train back home.
