Immediately upon leaving Boltenhagen und crossing the road, the yacht harbour as well as the creek Tarnewitzer Bach there is a sandy road parallel to the creek towards the Baltic Sea. A local gave me the following directions of a nice unmarked path. A dirt track follows the coast line partly along the water front and partly through the shrubs until reaching Tarnewitzer Camp. Thereby are the remains of a pre war military airfield visible. By choosing this way walking on the hard shoulder of the heavily used road to Wohlenberg can be prevented. Thereafter I continued along the coast or on the beach with proper E9 markings until reaching the campsite Zierow. While passing through the camp ground Wohlenberger Wiek I had an early lunch. Starting at Bad Wendorf the path went by allotments and green areas almost until reaching the centre of Wismar. In the evening I arrived at the youth hostel.
