Rowe / Rowy
Slowinzischer Nationalpark / Slowinski Park Narodowy
Leba / Leba 39 km
This section passes through the National Park Slowinski all day long. The park is entered by passing a cashier hut that was still closed in the morning. The first part gives many views of Lake Gardner See / Jezioro Gardno. Upon finishing the lake section the E9 turns left. To the right the park could be left towards Schmolsin / Smoldzino. Now the path gets rather wet. At Scholpin / Czolpino the E9 arrives at a road and a parking lot. During the season a cashier hut is open here. Now the path runs through pine forests and sand dunes to finally arrive at the Baltic Sea coast. When the weather is fine a side trip to the 56 m tall light tower from Scholpin / Czolpino is worth the effort. Once having reached the beach the path continues as solitary as it has been all morning; the only exception being near the light tower. Once reaching the access path to the dune Lontzke / Lacka Gora it starts getting crowded again. This dune is still shifting even today. The dune is crossed to reach the concrete access road from Leba. This road is followed all the way thereby passing along lake Leba See / Jezioro Lebsko. During the holiday season a so called train on rubber wheels can be used until Rabka. Here are major parking lots. I walked all the way until Leba.
