We were in no hurry as we could only get into our apartment after lunch. Starting in the clouds we soon got low enough to stay out of them. Just before arriving in Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port we where back in the clouds and could not see much at all. The trail was easy to hike today. In this wintersport community we searched for the only restaurant,Asked the only people we encountered and finally found it. It was nice and warm inside. We got the days special which was good and filling. When finishing it was time to walk to our apartment which was in the next building. Getting there we where still in the clouds and there was just nothing to see outside.

We staid for two nights in the apartment and had a restfull day. On French TV they showed the Tour de France. There were no English channels. The small store had enough food for staying here and we found the laundry. It was rather on the cool side in the apartment and we could not raise the heating above 19°C. It was still ok. During the O-day we could see for a short time what was outside but soon the clouds where back.
