La Pierre Saint-Martin
Lescun 17 km
The clouds where gone and we had a good view of the community and the mountains around. Instead of going back to the trail we hiked through the skiing area and followed a winter service road before climbing up. First we staid on a very steep ski slope. Leaving the slope it started getting very rocky whith some climbing. At pass Pas d'Azuns we really had to climb. It looked like there was no way up. However some ropes were installed and we managed it to the top. And than it was down again. Once we reached Cabane d'Ardinet it was a nice green valley. At the Refuge de l'Abèrouat we stopped for a nice cold drink. That was a very welcome refreshment. To Lescun we followed the little traveled road. At the food store in Lescun we restocked and set down for a nice peace of cake. Then it was time to move on to Camping du Lauzart. We staid for the night at the campground.
