The plan was to take the chairlift up to the top below mountain Soum de Grum and to hike slack packing down to Lac d'Estaing. From there we wanted to take the bus back to Cauterets just like yesterday. We should have read the timetable. The bus does not run every day of the week. We decided to nevertheless take the chairlift and than do some touristy hiking at the top. First we walked to Col d'Ilhéou to have a look down the trail we had planned to hike. On the way we encountered many day hikers. Also a shepherd with his flock of sheep came by. Before arriving at Cabanes de Arras where a lot of horses. And than of course a herd of cattle with some "cowboys". On we went to Refuge d'Ilhéou by the lake with the same name. Here a hiker went swimming. To finnish off todays hiking we went back to the chairlift for the ride down to town.
