Col de Riou                             10 km

This became a very long climb out of the valley. Well, not so many kilometers, but it seemed like endless up and up. It was a sunny but not so warm day. We met many dayhiker. It was not so easy to find a spot for the night. We settled for a place below Col de Riou with a view of the skiing area.
