Vallon d'Aygues Cluses
Bivouac de la Lude 15 km
Another nice and sunny day. It started off relativly easy until we arrivid at Refuge d'Aygues-Cluses. We stopped shortly and than mooved on. Now the trail became tougher and tougher. It was up and up until arriving at Col de Madamète at 2.509 m. Going down it became easier but not really good. We turned slightly off the trail to hike to Refuge du Lac d'Aubert for the water source. When getting there at the parking lot we found a dry faucet. Others where looking for the drinking water too. On we walked now on better tread to Lac de l'Oule. We had to leave the National Park for camping. At the lake was the Aire de bivouac de la Lude. This was a fenced in bare and windy area by the lake. We put up our tents like many others with some wind break nearby.
