Another day of climbing ahead of us. We cleaned the apartment after breakfast and started the very hot and sunny day. The first bit was level along the river in the valley. Once we passed through Juzet-de-Luchon the climbing started. Until Artigue we followed the road. Here we had a long break under a roof at a picnic table. Finally upon restocking on water we moved on. From here on it was uphill along a gravel farmroad. Later in the afternoon it became cloudy and luckily a thunderstorm passed by. There were many sheep along the trail with their restless bells. At Col de Peyrehitte we found a good spot for the night near the cabane.
