Following a quiet night of cowboy camping we finished the last steps down into the valley and soon arrived at Fos. This place was basically dead. No traffic or people at all. Than it started uphill along a minor road. It bacame a sunny and very hot day. The first place we passed through was Melles. This is nice little community with public facilities. On we went until Labach. Soon after the road ended and the GR10 continues along a partly very steep trail. And this in the open without any shade. Just short of Cabanet d'Uls we met a shepherd who commented that the creek water was not very good. Higher up we would find better water. Thats not where we wanted to go. We checked the hut but found it far to warm to stay in. We set up our tents nearby. There where plenty of sheep mingling around. This looked like a noisy night. The shepherds stay at another higher up hut. So all the sheep left later.
