My hike had started just across the border from Norway in Storlien / Sweden. From there to Hodalen I had hiked the last time but then I had hiked north. Therefor I am not writing about that section again. I had staid for the night at the tiny hut. It is not run by DNT but requires the DNT key to open the lock. It is not very much frequented. My entry from two years ago was on the same page as my entry this time. It is rather comfortable and includes the use of a flush toilet and a hot shower in the adjacent camp. I staid for the night with a fellow hiker. She was hiking NPL too; but going south to north. This allowed us to exchange a lot of information about our forthcoming hikes.
The first part of todays hike was familiar for me from when I had hiked the last time coming from Tynset. I followed the trail to Raudsjødalen until arriving at Eidsætra. The trail had been easy to walk all day long. From here there is a little hiked trail across the fjell to Klettsætra. Nowon everything became new for me. I followed a hardly travelled gravel road down to Brydalen. There I left the place along another gravel road on the opposit site of the valley until I arrived at a dead end with a nice flat place near River Væråa. Here two Dutch motor cyclists had set up their tents and had started a camp fire. I joined them and we had a nice evening until I went to my tent for the night. It had been a cloudy day with some sunshine and nice temperature for hiking.
