04    Creede - Salida    163 km

We had hiked this section in 2014. So we decided to skip it and hitched to Salida. It took us about four hours and four cars were all we needed. The last ride took us directly to the hostel. This hostel has a complete kitchen too. Preparing a meal there made staying in town quite rewarding. The hostel provided a bicycle for use by guests which I did for a ride to Walmart at the other end of town.
