Aumühle
Reinbek 7 km
Hamburg-Bergedorf 6 km
Hamburg-Berliner Tor 13 km
Early in the morning I went by train to Aumühle. As a daytrip I started at the station to walk after a few kilometres through the suburbs of my hometown Hamburg. The first part went through various forests and a few open fields. The river Bille was met a few times before arriving at Bergedorf. Todays walk clearly confirmed why Hamburg is known as a green city. The highlight is the Nature Reserve "Boberger Niederung" with its sailplane field. When the weather is nice, the sailplanes can be watched. They take off behind a tow plane. I had such a nice day. And then there are of course the Boberg Dunes. They are the remains of a large dune area. From Billstedt on the path is through a narrow green belt above the subway tracks. At Berliner Tor I took the train home.
