There was to be hardly any sunshine today. Shortly past 7 am I started. Soon I could see how low the clouds were. A wind turbine and a communication tower were hardly visible. Then I reached castle Sternberg. I continued towards Lemgoer Mark, today's only larger forest. I stopped for lunch in Lemgo. This town has many old buildings. From here to Detmold the path went through fields and small stands of trees. Near Loßbruch the trail passes by a big active lime quarry. Soon after I arrived at the outskirts of Detmold. I went straight to the railway station. I was lucky; my train left a few minutes after I had bought my ticket.
