Once the strong thunder storm with plenty of rain had moved on it got quiet over night. So I had a nice and restful sleep. After a short hike I arrived in Hausach. At a bakery I had a nice breakfast. On I went to a supermarket. Here I refilled my supply of denatured alcohol for my stove. Now it was a long climb up to hut Lochenhütte. Today is Saturday and the hut is serviced. They offered totally unexpected trail magic. They had cakes with hot drinks. That was a surprise. Before I moved on a hiker from California arrived. She new my US trail PCT. After some talking I moved on. Having reached the top the trail became rather level. I met further hiker and biker during the day. Then I had a companion for a while. A German Shepherd hiked alongside me. After quite some time he had enough of me and walked back with some other hikers. Partly the trail was rather rocky. Just short of Alexanderschanze I found a spot for the night.
