Passing by Nørre Snede through the forest Nedergård Skov I had great sand and grass sections through meadows, forests and heather; and this all the way until shortly before Nørre Kollemorten and even thereafter. Then near Givskud the path marking changed from blue to yellow. This must have been copied from the yellow markings used on roads for bypasses. A new motorway is under construction and the E1 needed to be redirected, and these mostly on paved roads. Finally the diversion was passed and it continues on gravel. The final stretch to Jelling was paved again. Finding the pilgrims hostel in Jelling was not easy. No one seemed to know the hostel or even the street. Finally an older gentleman gave me the directions.
