VIb.14    Section Pian della Capenna - Pieve Santo Stefano   26km

This part became a very nice and easy hike. We started off with blue sky and plenty of sunshine. And it staid like this all day long. The trail followed dirt and gravel roads with no motorized traffic. From previous days rain it was partly slippery. At Passo di Viamaggio we crossed the pilgrim route Via di Francesco and encountered a few pilgrims. Again the trail follows the ridge line with plenty of ups and downs. We arrived early at Pieve Santo Stefano where we staid at the hotel with the appropriate name Santo Stefano. As we had enough time on our hands we walked around and found the town to be very nice. For dinner we had of course a pizza.
