Today was our last day hiking together. As Steady planned to go next to Rome we had to arrive at Chiusi della Verna in time for the bus to Bibienna we decided to follow the road from Lama to Verna instead of following the roundabout trail along the ridgeline. Before that we came to Caprese Michelangelo; his birthplace. Of course we had a look at the museum but due to time constraint only from outside. It was a rather warm and sunny day. I went to a local store and got icecreame. They didn't sell single ones or scoops but only a complete box. This meant we had plenty of icecreame to eat. At Chiusi della Verna we waited for the bus near a water fountain named Campari. But no campari but only water came out.
One of my poles had lost its tip. So we went together on the bus to Bibienna and on by train to Arezzo. Here we staid for the night at a hotel in the town center. Two different sports stores did not have any pole tips. Two more stores could be visited tomorrow. As it was sunny and we were so much lower than in the mountains it was rather hot. Tonights dinner was of course pizza.
