VIb.21    Section Casaglia - Passo la Futa   33km

In the morning I went back to the coop for breakfast. Then I started out still partly in the clouds but it was mostly dry. Not wanting to spent all day in the clouds I decided to follow the paved and later gravel road up to Fonte di Baiocco. This way I avoided the long crescent in the mountains and a lot of muddy hiking. My map showed at Passo del Giogo a bar. Yes it was there but it was closed. After midday I was completely out of the clouds but therefor the trail got very muddy. Than the restaurant at Passo della Futa was closed too. I went to the campground which was open. A few other hikers had set up their tents too. Here I got a good pizza for dinner.
