VIb.22    Section Passo la Futa - Montepiano   29km

The day turned out to be mostly easy hiking. The sky was mostly blue with plenty of sunshine. The plan was to take it easy and just hike until Montepiano. The trail follows partly along the crestline and partly along the slopes but always forested. The store in town was closed until later in the afternoon. I had late lunch at a bar and staid for night at Hotel Margherita.
