VIc.16    Section Cusano Mutri - Montesarchio   30 km

This became another warm and sunny day. Today being Saturday I had planned to take off on Sunday. Therefore I booke an appartment in Montesarchio where I wanted to arrive in the evening. Walking aling minor roads with several chort and one long ascent I arrived in town in the evening. On the way I passed some cattle including a cattle drive near Cautano. In Cacciano I was the last customer served before the bar closed for lunch. I could sit outside in the shade having tea and a cooky. In the evening I went shopping for the next few days. The appartment was ok. Sunday it became even warmer. I went up to the castle which is situated on a hill in the town. Here I got a guided tour in English just for myself. When the guide learned that I was walking the length of Italy I got a cold drink for free. What a treatment. The castle is rather interesting to visit. On top I had a very good view being high above the town. Except for this visit I just chilled the rest of the day.
