This was a noisy night. The cattle was mooing all night long. With a good breakfast in my stomach I started off. It became a long descent starting from around 1350 m. The track and later road was easy to walk. Only there was far too much gravel on top making it sometimes a bit slippery. Along Sentiero Storico Madonna della Neve I passed by a sheperd with cattle, sheep and goats. Down in the valley arriving at a suburb of Sanza I immediately went to a spring. I had arrived with basically no water left. Following a buisier road I walked to Sanza where I stopped for lunch. The town is located on a steep hill. Along minor roads and soon gravel roads I went back up steeply again. The trail was marked rather poorly and had not seen much maintenace for a while. At about 900m I arrived at the top. Now the trail went down again. The road I had to follow only went to a couple of farm houses. One car came by and asked them where I could camp for the night. They recommended a place further down the road below mountain Rotondo. Here I found a good spot after a hot hiking day.
