There had been some rain over night. The wind had calmed down but changed from northerly to a southerly direction. It also got warmer and consequently there where plenty of mosquitoes and black flies. Something I had been mostly spared from. The trail continued across the fjell. Whenever it went down into one of the river valleys I had to walk through some light birch forests. For a late lunch I stopped at the DNT-hut Bojobäski. Later after lunch while hiking down to a creek I met a group of bicycle riders. One of their bikes had some structural damage and the rider needed to push it along instead of riding it.
Down at the creek I had to get into my crocks to ford it. Several of the mosquitoes got hold of my legs. Well I had had no option. Several times I had seen rain in the distance but fortunately I was spared. The four wheel drive tracks where a few times quite wet and boggy. In the evening once I got inside my mosquito net tent under the tarp I first had to kill all the bugs that had managed to get inside. Before falling asleep I heard two fishermen walking near by.
