In the morning my shoulder felt good enough to continue hiking. The day started with sunshine. Kungsleden is a brought well trotten hiking trail with plenty of rocks. Being this famous I felt it was not as well maintained as I had expected. Walking mostly near River Abiskojakka I arrived hut Abiskojaure around midday. Here I stopped for my lunch. By now quite a few clouds had moved in. Moving on I soon arrived at the first control post for the Fjellräven Klassik. I talked with the people for a time. Contrary to the weather forecast I could see a rain front moving towards me. Luckily the path leaves the valley and follows River Siellajohka up to Lake Alesjaure. Short of my days goal another shower caught up with me. I did not want to hike in the rain. So I set up my tarp just in time before the first drops came down. It was far too early. Until about eight when the rain stopped I dosed under my tarp. I got up to make dinner and finally fell asleep for the night.
