Ib.2    Section Kvitsteindalstunet - Virvasshytta   21 km

Today I wanted to hike to DNT-Virvashytta. Soon I had reached the bridge across River Litlumelva. From here on E1 follows for quite a while until reaching River Kvepsendalselva a reindeer fence. In the distance I saw a moose that ran away. Now it went uphill following the river. At the hut Kvepsendalskoia I stopped for lunch. With nice weather I continued arriving at Virvasshytta for the night. Today I had to hike a lot cross country while crossing a number of creeks. This section I had hiked two years ago too. Then it had been considerably drier and the creeks carried a lot less water.
