Ic.8    Section Holden - Seisøfiskløysa 24 km

Starting in the morning I had some difficulty finding the trail to Langvasshytta. After some crisscrossing I finally found the actual trail. It became easy hiking through a nice forest. Early in the day I had some sunshine but later on the sky became completely cloud covered. The trail follows Lake Skjeldbreien and later Lake Grøningen. At River Langvaselva, the outlet from Lake Langvasnet, the trail ends. There is only a short trail to Langsvasshytta which is private and locked. Going further I moved on following the GPS track. It was often tough going with wet and boggy sections. Eventually I moved up to Plukkutjønnfjellet and out of the woods. Shortly before reaching Lake Seisøfiskløysa I met a Belgian couple. They where the only people I met all day long. Above the lake I set up my tarp for the night.
