When starting off from Stekvasselvgard it was dry. I tried to get as many kilometers done before the rain would start again; and it started once I had hiked for 90 minutes. The rain stopped me from taking any photos. I put on my rain clothing and continued on. I later had lunch in a Lap style hut. This allowed me to get out of the rain while sitting on the dirty ground with unfortunately some refuse from previous hikers. When arriving the two German hikers Andreas and Hauke where just about ready to continue. The storm increased in strength by the hour. All creeks where running high and many had spilled over their banks. Crossing some of them was not easy. Were existing and not only markings the trail was wet with many puddles. Slowly everything got wet.
When I arrived at Kjennvasshytta the two German hikers had fired up the wood burning stove and I entered a nice warm hut. Soon I was out off my wet clothes and boots and hung them up for drying. As it was much earlier than I normally would have stopped it was too early for dinner. We talked for a while about the forthcoming section.
