As the hotel served breakfast not so early it became than planned when I finally started. Here in Røros I was back on E1. Due to Corona I could not hike from Sweden into Norway. So I could not hike the section from Grövelsjön to here. The first bit was along a paved road along Lake Hittersjøen and then River Strømme-elva. Except for one slight turn it was only straight ahead until arriving at the former iron ore mine Storwartz. Here I could see the flooded mine shafts and a number of old building. The coffee shop was closed due to Corona. In the distance I could see more mining buildings. From here the trail turns about 90° along the bare Bersfjellet. Finally I arrived through birch forest road 6536. In Glåmos the trail switches to road 6532 and soon after onto a gravel road. This road leads around the northern end of Lake Aursunden and then steadily climbing along River Stormolinga. At road end I turned of wrongly and instead of arriving at the farm Jo-Olsavollen I came to the old farm Per-Hansavollen. Luckily this was a short cut and not extra kilometers. Here I set up my tarp on a meadow.
