IIa.13 Section Sylarna Fjellstation - Enkälens Rastskyd 11 km

I had set up my tarp near the Fjellstation. Consequently it was not really quiet. Therefore I slept with my ear plugs. After breakfast and packing of my rucksack I entered the Fjellstation instead of directly starting to hike. This was a good decision. A heavy rain started shortly after getting inside. While waiting out the rain I had a great desire to see the toilets. Here I started encountering the first bout of diarrhea. I did not take it too seriously and left once it was dry again. I wanted to walk to Blåhammeren Fjellstation. It did not work out. I had to go several times urgently behind the non existing trees and relieve me.

It was slow walking as I felt rather poorly. Soon it became clear that I would not make it to the next fjellstation. In the afternoon I arrived at the emergency shelter Enkälens Rastskyd. I decided to stay here for the night. Soon after a heavy rain started. More and more people got inside the shelter. Once the rain was over they all left. I skipped dinner before falling asleep.
