In Tryggeboda I made a short side trip to Leimsteingruben. This was where chalk for iron smelting was mined. Taking this side trip was really worth it. Back on trail I continued to Sixtorp. As I had planned to resupply in Karlskoga next day today was to be a short hiking day. Next to a community center with an outside faucet with drinking water is a shelter. Here I stopped for lunch. In the afternoon I ran into several showers with thunder storms. During the strongest down poor I was lucky to find cover in a shelter named Hälga. At Lake Lillsjö was the end of today's hike.

Typical pit toilet along Bergslagsleden

Fanciful trail marking

Leimstein pit. Chalk for iron smelters was dug out here

Houses in typical Swedish red along the path

Here I took cover from a short but heavy down poor
