North of Kloten the E1 continues along Malingbo-Kloten-Rundweg. This path was well marked and in the beginning well maintained. However it got worth the further the trail went. I moved to the parallel sand road. Here cyclists passed by again and again. There was an amateur race going on today. At Nyfors they had set up a supply station for them. Even so I was on foot I was serviced with food and drinks too. The band played just for me a special song. That was quite something. In Björnsjö I continued on Sméleden, another path that is part of E1. The marking was somewhere between not existing and seldom visible with an afford. Following an negative search on a forest road I stopped the only car passing by. They did not know the Sméleden at all. But they offered to give me a lift to Smedjebacken. This was a very good decision. The youth hostel was not anymore at the location indicated on the map the community had sent me. Instead the new one was out of town in a former school building in Jobsbo.

During winter this is an illuminated ski track, in summer it is the Malingbo-Kloten-Rundweg, part of E1
