Today except for a few clouds I had sunshine all day long. The path went through nice country side and was easy to walk. I had lunch at the shelter at Lake Ibbesjön. Many fishermen were at this lake. This was mostly due to the nearby vacation village of Semesterbyn. Here I treated myself to an ice cream. Soon the path became absolutely straight and not caring about the country side. The path follows the border of the nature reserve Hökensås. As a consequence from three rather steep and deep valleys one is equipped with a supporting rope as a kind of handrail. In the evening I arrived at the shelter near Lake Vitsjön. Once more I was on my own for the night.
Short break at shelter Hållsdammsbäcken, that is nicely located near a brook.
Well marked E1 meandering through heather and pine trees.
Stone from 1690 adjacent to path
Short but steep ascent with helpful ropes
