There had been information signs along the trail so it was no surpise for me. The trail was interrupted due to construction of motorway A44. There was no marked way around. Only I sign confirming that the trail was closed. I had to divert to roads and reached the E6 at Blankenbach again. With sunshine it was nice and warm. But without the sun it was rather cool. Besides this bypass some parts of the trail followed gravel forest roads. The gravel had recently been laid and rather rough to walk. Towards evening I arrived at Friedewald where I staid at Hotel zum Löwen. For dinner I had a nice piza.
