Not having slept in my tent I could not start as early as I wanted. Soon I arrived one of many shelters along the trail. The shelter Rhönblick (View of Rhön Mountains) really deserved its name. Besides the mountains I could see huge potash tailing piles from the underground potash mines in the distance. For lunch I stopped below Mountain Soisberg. Here at two trees aptly named wedding trees I had my lunch. Later moving on I passed by Mountain Stallberg. Shortly before arriving at the community Haselstein I found a nice place for the night and set up my tent.
